Catline is an offline yarn-untangling puzzle game developed and operated by 研翎科技 (YLTech). This policy explains how the game handles information.
Our core commitment: Catline does not collect or share personal data through the game. It has no account system, ads, analytics, or third-party data-collection SDKs. Gameplay and saved progress are processed locally on your device.
1. Information used by the game
The game stores level progress, best move counts, the current puzzle layout and move count, and preferences such as music, sound, language, and reduced motion. These records are used to resume your game and apply your settings. They are not sent to us or to third parties by the game.
The game does not request your name, email address, phone number, location, contacts, photos, microphone recordings, advertising identifier, or payment information.
2. Storage and protection
Saved progress and preferences are kept in the application's local storage on your device, protected by Android's application storage controls. We do not operate a server or cloud-save service for these records and cannot restore them for you. Device backup or transfer features, if offered by your operating system, are controlled by that system and your device settings.
3. Sharing, transfer, and disclosure
The game does not transmit saved progress or personal data to us. We do not sell, rent, or share in-game data. There is no advertising, analytics, social-login, payment, or crash-reporting SDK in this release.
4. Permissions and external services
The game does not require sensitive permissions such as camera, microphone, location, contacts, or access to shared photos and files. It does not need a network connection for gameplay. Local app storage is used for saves, without requesting shared-storage access.
If you choose to open a website or contact us by email, your browser, email provider, or website host processes that interaction under its own policies. This privacy-policy page has no analytics scripts, third-party fonts, or tracking cookies added by us; its hosting infrastructure may process ordinary web-request information to serve the page.
5. Your choices and deletion
You can change game preferences in settings. To delete local progress and preferences, use Android's app settings to clear Catline's storage, or uninstall the app. Clearing storage resets your progress. Any device backup or transfer copies are managed through your operating system's controls. No account-deletion request is required because the game has no accounts.
6. Children's privacy
The game's no-collection design applies to every player, including minors. We do not knowingly collect children's personal information through the game. A parent or guardian can contact us with questions about privacy.
7. Policy updates
We will update this page and its effective date if information practices change. If a future release adds data collection or permissions, the app and store disclosures will be updated as applicable before those features are used.
