Sauna & Cold Plunge Tracker app (package ID: store.yltech.sauna_app, the "App")

1. Overview

This Privacy Policy describes how the App "Sauna & Cold Plunge Tracker" handles user data. The App is developed by YLTech (the "Developer") and is a tool for logging sauna, cold plunge, contrast therapy and custom recovery sessions, with a built-in timer, streak and weekly-goal tracking, and trend analysis.

2. Data we collect

The App does not collect or transmit your personal session data.

All data you create in the App (sessions, temperature notes, presets, weekly goal, streaks, settings) is stored exclusively on your device in the App's local database and is never uploaded to the Developer's servers. The App works without registration and without an account.

• Sessions and history — stored locally on the device only.
• Presets and settings — stored locally on the device only.

3. Advertising

The App is supported by advertising and displays ads served by Google AdMob (banner ads and interstitial-style app-open ads).

To deliver and measure ads, Google AdMob may process an anonymized advertising identifier and certain technical data (device type and model, operating system version, language, network information). This processing is governed by Google's Privacy Policy and the Google advertising terms. Your session data and user content are never shared with advertising partners.

• Users in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom are shown a consent form (Google User Messaging Platform) before any ads are requested, where you can choose whether to allow personalized ads. You can revisit this choice later via the privacy options in the consent form.
• If you prefer not to receive personalized advertising, you can also use the advertising-privacy settings of your device (for example, "Opt out of Ads Personalization" on Android) or delete your advertising ID from Android settings.

4. Data sharing with third parties

The only third party that may receive anonymized technical data is Google AdMob for ad serving (see section 3). Your user content (sessions, presets, settings) is not shared with any third party and stays on your device.

5. App permissions

The App requests the minimum set of permissions it needs:

• INTERNET / ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE — loading advertisements (Google AdMob). All core tracking features work without it once ads are not requested.
• FOREGROUND_SERVICE (special use) — keeps the session timer running accurately while the screen is locked.
• POST_NOTIFICATIONS — showing timer and reminder notifications.
• WAKE_LOCK — keeping the timer and reminder alarms reliable.
• SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM / USE_EXACT_ALARM — firing daily reminders at the exact time you choose.

The App does not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, location, storage, calls or SMS.

6. Data security

Data stored locally on your device is protected by the Android operating system and is accessible only within the App.

7. Data deletion

Because all of your data is stored only on your device, uninstalling the App permanently deletes all sessions, presets and settings.

8. Children

The App is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal data from children.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version is always available on this page.
